Business Retention and Expansion Program
Beginning May 2024, the Tofino-Long Beach Chamber of Commerce (TLBCC) is conducting a second round of in-depth business interviews with local businesses as part of the Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) Program. This is an extension of the pilot project that was conducted in 2022.
The goal is to gather further insights on Tofino’s unique business challenges and opportunities, enabling the TLBCC to inform all levels of government and pursue achievable solutions.
>> BRE Program Coordinator, Susie Doré, is conducting live 60-minute interviews now through early-December.
Interview questions seek your feedback on a range of business-related topics, including:
Staff recruiting, housing, and skills/training
Federal, Provincial, Municipal, and Regional District services
Current business climate; challenges and opportunities
Future business growth; challenges and opportunities
Local business resources
Note: The information you provide will be anonymous. All data will be compiled in an aggregate summary report.
Time to talk business?
We value your input and invite you to book a 60-minute interview at your business or another location that’s convenient for you. Interviews can also be conducted on Zoom. Thanks in advance for your participation!
